ETRI Since 1945

2025 is a special year for the ETRI brand. Indeed it exists since 80 years!

At first the company name was MERI (Materiel et Equipement Rationnels pour l'Industrie), founded in 1945. MERI has registered the brand name ETRI (Etudes techniques et Représentations Industrielles).

It was only a design office. For example, it has patented metal beer barrels, stick vacuum, …

Then ETRI began in ventilation with air treatment in mines and has then extended its activity to many different application types, such as electronics cooling, railway applications, avionics applications, …

Etri is the first company to patent compact axial fans.

ETRI has opened its American subsidiary ETRI Inc. in 1976, now called ROSENBERG USA.

1976, doesn't this date remind you of something? The year of ECOFIT foundation, of course!

ROSENBERG USA remains our American sales subsidiary.

ETRI brand has been successively taken over by Convergie and finally ECOFIT in 2002 (now ROSENBERG VENDÔME).

ETRI's today fan is mainly with integrated electronics such as our 63DBV showed in this article.

Electronics is one of the keys to get efficient fans adapted to every special ventilation needs.

What hasn't changed and won't change by ETRI: Technical studies specially adapted to our customers' needs.

2024 was a great and successful year for ETRI, as we have developed many adapted ventilation solutions for the special applications of our customers.
