ETRI develops railway ventilation solutions designed to ensure passenger and driver comfort while providing efficient cooling for onboard electronic equipment. Most of our standard fan models can also be customized to meet the specific requirements of each project, including supply voltage, performance targets, and installation constraints.

Compact DC Axial Fans

Onboard Ventilation and Thermal Management for Railway and Bus Applications

    • Our axial fans, centrifugal fans, and blowers are regularly tested and qualified to comply with the stringent requirements of the EN 45545-2 European railway fire safety standard.
    • Designed to meet the most demanding fire hazard classifications, including HL2 (Hazard Level 2) and HL3 (Hazard Level 3), our solutions comply with R22 (interior equipment) and R23 (exterior equipment) requirements for tunnel, metro, and railway applications. These characteristics ensure outstanding fire performance while significantly limiting smoke propagation and toxic gas emissions.
