The new ETRI fan is an axial fan, also known as a helicoid fan. This type of fan delivers high aeraulic performance in a very compact dimension.

The ETRI 137D axial fan has a compact dimensions, with a diameter of 95mm, a thickness of 65mm and a mass of less than 600 grams.

This high-performance fan is available in 28 volt direct current, the ideal voltage for on-board applications, whether on land, at sea or in the air. More and more on-board electrical networks are using 28VDC. A 28VDC electrical network has the advantage of requiring smaller, lighter equipment. This is crucial in on-board solutions, so as not to increase the weight of the vehicles.

The new ETRI 137D axial fan features a tachometric feedback function. This function enables the fan's rotation speed to be checked at all times, guaranteeing optimum ventilation at all times, and facilitating and anticipating system maintenance.

This new 137D fan offers protective features for operation in harsh environments. In particular, it is protected to withstand salt spray conditions and extreme temperatures from -40°C to +85°C. This makes it particularly suitable for a wide range of on-board applications.

The motor's standard IP40 protection level protects it against the ingress of foreign bodies larger than 1mm.
